01About this product
A rectangular frame in injection-moulded acetate, 138 mm across the front, which puts it in the middle of the adult size range rather than at either end. The lens carries a coating that filters part of the short-wavelength blue band, and it is tinted faintly amber as a consequence of that coating rather than as a styling decision. Colour on screen shifts a little warmer when you put them on; that is the filter working and not a fault.
Spring hinges at both temples let the arms flex outward past their normal stop, which is what stops a frame at this price loosening within a season. Silicone nose pads are moulded in rather than glued on. Supplied with a microfibre pouch. Non-prescription throughout, with no optical power in the lens.

Expect a warmer screen
Whites will look slightly cream for the first few minutes and then stop being noticeable as your eyes adjust. If you do colour-critical work, take them off for that task rather than fighting the tint.
Wear them for screen time, not all day
These are for the hours you spend in front of a monitor or a phone. There is no reason to wear a filter lens outdoors in daylight, and no benefit to it.
Clean with the cloth, never with paper
Paper towel and tissue are abrasive enough to haze a coated lens over a few months. Use the supplied microfibre cloth dry, or barely damp with water, and skip alcohol wipes entirely.
Fitting these frames
There is one size. Work from the three numbers in the specification table above — 52 mm lens width, 18 mm bridge, 145 mm temples — and compare them with a pair of glasses you already wear comfortably; the same three numbers are usually printed inside one of that pair’s temple arms. If you are within roughly 2 mm on the lens and bridge figures, this frame will sit the same way. Both temples are wire-cored, so an optician can adjust them to your head and the adjustment will hold.

- Are these prescription glasses?
- No. There is no optical power in the lens. If you already wear prescription glasses, the clip-on lenses are the product designed to work over them.
- Will these fit a narrow or a wide face?
- At 138 mm across the front they suit a middle range. The oversized frame is 145 mm for wider faces, and the round metal frame is 134 mm for narrower ones.
- How much blue light do they filter?
- The coating filters part of the short-wavelength band and the exact figure is on the specification table of each frame. We do not publish a single headline percentage, because it varies across the spectrum and a single number would be misleading.
- Do these help with eye strain?
